ABOUT ME
Chelsea Is Where My Story Begins
My name is Tanaïri García, and I am a proud lifelong resident of Chelsea, Massachusetts. I grew up here, studied in our public schools, and graduated from Chelsea High School before earning a Bachelor’s degree in Business and a Master’s in Marketing. Today, I am raising my two children in the same city that shaped me, and I remain deeply connected to our community.
As a mother, small business owner, and public servant, I know the challenges and opportunities that families in Chelsea face every day. My personal journey has given me the strength and commitment to work tirelessly for a safer, stronger, and more united city.
Serving as City Councilor for District 4 has been the greatest honor of my life. During this time, I have focused on strengthening public safety, expanding youth programs, supporting small businesses, improving housing protections, and launching projects that beautify our neighborhoods and bring people together.
My vision for Chelsea is simple: to ensure our children grow up safe, our seniors live with dignity, and every resident has the opportunity to thrive. Chelsea is my home, my heart, and my purpose—and I will continue to dedicate myself to building a better future for all of us.
